Velocity Metropolitan District Nos. 1-9 Technology Accessibility Statement 

Velocity Metropolitan District Nos. 1-9 (the "Districts") are committed to providing equitable access to the Districts' official website to all members of the public.  The Districts' ongoing accessibility efforts work toward being compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria.  The Districts welcome comments on how to improve their technology's accessibility for users with disabilities as well as requests for reasonable modifications and/or accommodation to any District services, programs, and/or activities. 

Please let us know if you encounter inaccessible information and communication technology.  The Districts are committed to responding to requests for reasonable modifications and/or accommodation as well as reports of accessibility issues in a timely manner.

VELOCITY METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NOS. 1-9

QUARTERLY PROGRESS-TO-DATE REPORT

Monday, September 30, 2024

Velocity Metropolitan District Nos. 1-9 (the “Districts”) have conducted regular monitoring and scanning of its information and communication technology (“ICT”), as such term is defined in 8 CCR § 1501-11.4, as further described below:

·         Monthly technology accessibility scans of the Districts’ website content against applicable Technical Standards scans since July 2023; and

·         Reviewed accessibility scans and ordered remediation for noncompliant ICT contained within the Districts’ website.

The results of the regular scanning and monitoring show the Districts’ ICT having an overall compliance score of 96% with the Technical Standards, as such term is defined in 8 CCR § 1501-11.5. The Districts continue to remediate known compliance issues in the following areas:

·         2023 Audit Reports for District Nos. 3, & 5 within the Districts’ website at https://www.velocitymetrodistrict.com/documents

·         2023 Audit Exemptions for District Nos. 2, 4-9 within the Districts’ website at       https://www.velocitymetrodistrict.com/documents

 

Following the Districts’ Quarterly Progress-to-Date Report dated Monday, September 30, 2024, the Districts' proposed plan of action is to:

·         Update the Districts’ website content once remediation of the 2023 Annual Report has been completed; and

·         Update the Districts’ website content once remediation of the 2023 Audit Reports for District Nos. 3, & 5 have been completed; and

·         Update the Districts’ website content once remediation of the 2023 Audit Exemptions for District Nos. 2, 4-9 have been completed.

The Districts are committed to providing equitable technological access to its services, programs, and activities. The Districts’ ongoing technology accessibility efforts work toward being compliant with the Technical Standards. To that end, the Districts’ endeavors to continuously improve the technological accessibility of its ICT are demonstrated by this Progress-to-Date Report.
